ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಿತ್ರರೇ,
ನಾಡ ಪರ ಭಾಷಣಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆವಿಗು ಎಷ್ಟೊ ಬಂದು ಹೋದವು. ಆದರೆ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಕೆಚ್ಚಿನ ನುಡಿಗಳು ಇಣುಕಿಯೂ ಕೂಡ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
ಪ್ರತಿ ವರುಷ, ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಆತ್ಮಸ್ಥಿರ್ಯ ತುಂಬಲು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ವತಿ ಇಂದ ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನಿ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಸಮಾವೇಶ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
ಕಳೆದ ವರುಷ ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜರುಗಿತು. ಟಿ.ಏ.ನಾರಾಯಣ ಗೌಡರು ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ನುಡಿಗಳ್ಳನ್ನಾಡಿದರು. ವಲಸಿಗರ ಧರ್ಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆ ಹಾಗು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಅವರ ಕೆಲವು ಮಾತುಗಳು ಹೀಗಿದ್ದವು -
"ನುಡಿ ಕಾಯಿ, ಗಡಿ ಕಾಯಿ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬದುಕ್ತ ಇದ್ದೀಯ, ಬಾಳ್ತ ಇದ್ದಿಯ, ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡಿನ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನ ಕಾಯಿ ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡಿನ ಜನರ ಹಿತವನ್ನ ಕಾಯಿ, ಈ ನಾಡಿನ ನೆಲ ಜಲಗಳನ್ನ ಕಾಯಿ ಇಲ್ದಿದ್ರೆ ...."
