ಶೆಲ್ಲಿಯದು( ಅವನ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ) ತುಂಬಾ ರೆಬಲ್ ಮನೋಭಾವ ಅದೇ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಆಕ್ಸ್ ಫರ್ಡ್ ನಿಂದ ಹೊರಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಜೀವನವೋ ದುರಂತಗಳ ಸರಮಾಲೆ ಇವೆಲ್ಲದರ ನಡುವೆಯೂ ಸುಂದರ ಪದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾವ್ಯಾಸಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ

ಕೇವಲ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೊಂಭತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೇ ಸತ್ತು ಹೋದ ಶೆಲ್ಲಿ,ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತಾರು ವರುಷವಷ್ಟೇ ಬದುಕಿದ್ದ ಕೀಟ್ಸ್ ಇವರುಗಳ ಕಾವ್ಯ ಓದಿದಾಗ ಎಷ್ಟು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಯಸ್ಸಿಗೇ ಏನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬರೆದು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂತ ಅಚ್ಚರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತೆ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾನೇನೂ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂತ ಬೇಸರವಾಗುತ್ತೆ..
