ಕಾರ್ಮೋಡದಂಚಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ರೇಖೆ ಇದೆ
ಕಾರಿರಿಳಿನಲೂ ಮೊಗ್ಗು ಕೊನರಿ ಹೂವಾಗಿದೆ
ಕಂಬನಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ಮುತ್ತು ಕಂಡೆಯಾದರೆ
ಇಗೋ ಜಗತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನದೇ...


ಹೊಸವರ್ಷ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ತರಲಿ

I love you, you are mine.

I hope with you that is fine.

I dreamt of you day and night,

Dreams about you i did invite !

I do feel a bit at rest,

Because my feelings ..

You might have guessed !

Which I hope you would soon express.

A lot of crushes I've had,

But first time it is that I'm feeling so bad,

Cause I feel you're the one I love,

But my feelings I am scared to show.

Never thought you would be the one,

With whom I am going to confide.

But hidden feelings deep inside,

Decided to come outside.

Don't know when you shall be mine,

But, I hope soon in you I'll confine,

So that in the ride

Together we shall take a stride.

ಪೋಕರಿಯೊಬ್ಬನ ಪ್ರೇಮನಿವೇದನೆ

ನಾನು ಎಂಟೊಂಬತ್ತನೇ ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ನನ್ನ ಸೋದರಿಯೂ ಅವಳ ಬೆಸ್ಟ್ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತೆಯೂ ಹೆದರೆದರುತ್ತಾ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಒಂದು ಗ್ರೀಟಿಂಗ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು ಯಾವುದೇ ಲೋಕಲ್ ಬುಕ್ ಸ್ಟೋರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗಬಹುದಾದ ಎರಡು ಗುಲಾಬಿ

ಒಂದು ಹಾರ್ಟೋ ಒಂದು ಗುಲಾಬಿ ಎರಡು ಹಾರ್ಟೋ ಇದ್ದ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಅದು. ಅಸಲಿ ವಿಷ್ಯ ಅದಲ್ಲ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪೋಕರಿ ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಒಂದು ಪದ್ಯ ಬೇರೇ ಬರೆದು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಮತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕ್ಲಾಸ್ ನ `ದಡ್ಡೆಸ್ಟ್ ಹುಡುಗಿ ' ಅನ್ನಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡ ನನ್ನ ಸೋದರಿಯ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಅದು ಅರ್ಥವಾಗದೆ ವಯಾ ನನ್ನ ಸೋದರಿ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅದು ತಲುಪಿದ್ದು...ಅಂದಿಗೆ ನನಗರ್ಥವಾದ ರೀತಿ ಅದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಅವೆರಡೂ ಮಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದ್ದೆ ಇವತ್ಯಾಕೋ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾಲುಗಳ ಆ ಪದ್ಯ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಬಂತು ಇದರ ವ್ಯಾಕರಣ , ಪದಭಂದದ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯಾಗಲೀ., ಇದು ಯಾವ ಫೇಮಸ್ ಪದ್ಯದ ನಕಲು ಇರಬಹುದೆಂದು ತಲೆ ಕೆಡೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾಗಲೀ ಮಾಡದೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಓದಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ...
